Application Process for Offenburg

1. Apply to the program using online application system (OASIS). The selection committee will then screen your online application.

2. Within four weeks you will be notified as to whether or not you have been selected to provide a complete application.

1. Here you have to give your active email id through which you can access the university online process.

Program Selection

1. In program selection select your master program which course you want to apply and click on “Continue” button

2. Select the course semester from given menu in which your interested to apply for Winter or Summer and click on “Continue” button.

Personal Data

1. Attached your photo and fill your personal details, valid email address then click on “Continue” button.


1. Fill your post-secondary university education entrance such as the name of institution, location, study program, grade etc. as per given image then click on “Save” button.

Work Experience

1. If you have any work experience you can add into the form or you can skip this section by clicking “Continue” button.

Language Skills for PDE

1. Mention your native language, German proficiency (where and how long) if you have

2. Select “Yes” if you are willing to participate in the preparatory German course if not then select the “No” button.

3. Provide your English proficiency (TOFEL, IELTS, GMAT) if your native language is not in English.

Financing Your Studies

1. If you are scholarship applicant then click on “Yes” and mention the source of scholarship.

2. If “No” then mention how are you going to finance your studies and enter the name, the address of the person/bank who will finance your studies as per given image.

Paper-based Application

Part 2 applies when you have been invited to send your completed application documents by mail (post):

  • In this case you will be invited to send a paper-based application. Please print out the form generated in OASIS, attach your recent picture, sign it and include the following documents:
  • Certified copy of Bachelor's Degree (translated into either English or German)
  • Certified transcripts of marks (translated into either English or German)
  • Copy of TOEFL test results (institutional code: 7087)
  • Proof of German proficiency level B1 (Goethe Institute, University, language school etc.)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of motivation (explanation why you want to study PDE)
  • Before mailing your application, please be sure that you have completed and signed the application, added a recent picture, and included the other required documents in a single envelope (no folders or extra covers).

  • If your paper-based application has been finally admitted, we will contact you within eight weeks after deadline.

Note: University do not send back any applications. Therefore, send certified copies, no original documents.
