Application Process For University Of Stuttgart

University Of Stuttgart is one of the top nine leading technical universities in Germany (TU9) with highly ranked programs in civil, mechanical, industrial and electrical engineering. This here is a step by step procedure for applying in university of stuttgart for master's program.

Application Process for Stuttgart

1. All applications are made via the C@MPUS management portal.

Note: Please do not hand in any paper applications!

2. If you are already registered with a student or staff member account, you can use it for your application.


Apply for Stuttgart Online Portal


1. Go to the C@MPUS web page and open an applicant account, If an account is already there you can directly login to university site

2. If you don’t have an account, Click on the link “Please register as an applicant”.

New Applicant

1. Fill all personal details to create a new applicant account in the online portal as shown in the image and click on create applicant account

2. You will be receiving a mail from Stuttgart for activation of your user account, they will send you your username and current password, so you have to change your current password because password which they send you will have validation period for 4 Days.

Select Course

1. Next, after creating your account, you will start filling your details, so select the course semester from a drop-down menu in which your interested to apply for Winter or Summer and click on ‘Continue’ button

Select Degree

1. Select Type of studies from a drop-down menu, for example, master’s program or doctoral program. 2. Select Type of degree from a drop-down menu, for example, master of science or master of arts etc. 3. Select Type of degree program from a drop-down menu that your interest to apply, for example, Data Science or Informatics etc. 4. Select the form of studies from a drop-down menu, if you are getting confused in selecting the option, please go through with the below link, to choose the appropriate option. 5. Click Here to know what is ‘consecutive degree’, ‘second degree’ and ‘further training program’. 6. Click on ‘checkbox’ by accepting that before you have studied at university and click on ‘Continue’ button.

Personal Details

1. Fill your personal address and if you have any blank field fill it, then click on ‘continue’ button


1. Fill your correspondence address and if your correspondence address is same as permanent address then click on below checkbox and click on ‘continue’ button

Academic Details

1. Give your higher education qualification details, if you are a foreign citizenship education qualification then select second option

2. Give the original certificate name, date and average grade you have obtained and fill the name of the school, location, and country of school and click on ‘continue’ button.
Academic Degree Qualification Details
  • 1. Click on 'Add Degree', fill your degree education details, select the country where your university is located, give university name if it is not in select option then you can write your university name below that.
  • 2. Give your university URL, Degree obtained and form of study details, next fill the major subject you have studied during your course.
  • 3. Fill the start and end of your course semester, total number of leaves, internship you have obtained and finally fill your degree grade and completion of your degree date and click on save and close button.
  • 4. If you are still in college, then you need to fill in status>intermediate exam>passed as a whole. If you have finished the degree, then you need to fill in status>Final exam>passed as a whole.

  • 1. Similarly you can upload your all the documents in PDF format.
  • Higher education entrance qualification/High school diploma
  • Bachelore's degree certificate
  • Cumulative grade point average (CGPA)
  • CV - In this section, you can combine SOP, LOR and CV in a single PDF and upload

Supplementary Form

  • 1. For Supplementary form you have to fill Adjunct form in which you have to mention all the previous academic details of your university.

  • 1. Similarly upload all the document in the given form.
  • 2. While uploading CV you can upload your SOP and LOR as well.
  • 3. After that you will get application confirmation, then click on 'send' button.
