Most courses are held in English. Some of the lectures are in German, but study material in English is provided. The Master's thesis can be written either in English or in German.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in the field of biology or a field recognised as equivalent to it. Admissions decisions will be based on a number of criteria, including your grade point average and letter of motivation.
Students must necessarily be able to read and understand English text, to give presentations in English, to follow lectures and seminars in English, and to participate in scientific discussions in English.
